Limassol exhibition: glasses that do not give themselves away with cameras

On 4–6 August we showed a waveguide mock-up on an industry floor. The ordinary-glasses form factor landed better than any slide: no headset, no cameras on the temples.

Limassol exhibition: glasses that do not give themselves away with cameras

Three days on a Limassol industry floor. On the stand: a graphite Smartocule mock-up — daytime-glasses geometry, a waveguide in the lens, a camera at the hinge. No headset. No modules on the temples. That was the conversation.

Booth traffic rose from day one to day three. Press asked where the cameras were. Optics partners asked how HUD brightness holds outdoors. The answer is the same: if the glasses look like a headset, the product has already lost. The mock-up held that line.

The figures below are booth counts, not a TAM slide. Conversations with press and waveguide suppliers, not an “invest now” ask. Closed-round materials remain in the cabinet. This is not a public offer of securities.

Stand counts over three show days. Not a market audience and not a sales forecast.

What landed: the silhouette. What is still early: production brightness and the compute-module weight. This is a lab, not a shelf.
